Tipping at Subway

In a quiet suburban town, a peculiar masked man named Levi McDaniel caught the attention of the locals. Levi, with his wild mask with pinholes in the eyes, had an uncanny knack for bringing life to the most mundane situations. He was known for his spontaneous jokes and unmatched sense of humor, which could make even the grumpiest of souls crack a smile. On a typical Tuesday afternoon, Levi strolled into the local Subway, the scent of freshly baked bread wafting through the air, mingling with the faint tang of pickles. The bell above the door jingled merrily, announcing his arrival.

The sandwich artist, a young lady named Jenny, greeted him with a forced smile. "Welcome to Subway, Levi," she said, already bracing herself for his usual antics. "What can I get for you today?"

Levi scanned the menu, his eyes darting back and forth behind the pin holed mask. "I'll have a foot-long BMT on Italian herbs and cheese," he said, his voice a mix of excitement and mischief. "And make sure it's not just a foot-long, but a mile-long in flavor!"

Jenny couldn't help but roll her eyes. She had heard that one before, but she played along with a chuckle. "Coming right up, Levi," she replied, grabbing a sub roll and starting to assemble his sandwich. The other customers in the line chuckled at his joke, a few even exchanging knowing glances with one another.

As she layered on the meats and cheese, Levi leaned on the counter, watching her work with a twinkle in his eye. He always had a way of making the most ordinary transactions feel like a spectacle. "And don't skimp on the mayo," he added, "I want it to be like a deluxe swimming pool for the toppings!"

The customers in the line couldn't help but smirk at his request. Jenny, used to his shenanigans, just nodded and spread a generous amount of mayo before adding a mountain of veggies. She wrapped it up and handed it to him with a smile that was a little more genuine this time around. "Here you go, Levi," she said, "A mile of flavor in every bite."

Levi took the sandwich with a dramatic flourish. "Ah, the perfect masterpiece," he exclaimed. "But, my dear, how can I possibly repay you for such culinary genius?" He paused for a moment, building the suspense. Jenny raised an eyebrow, waiting for his next punchline.

"I've got it!" Levi snapped his fingers. "How about a tip?" He reached into his pocket and pulled out a handful of quarters. The customers in line chuckled, expecting his usual over-the-top gesture. But instead of tossing the change into the tip jar, he began to carefully arrange the quarters along the counter, creating a makeshift tollbooth. "You know, for the 'Express Lane' of flavor you've provided me," he quipped.

Jenny couldn't help but laugh as she watched Levi place each coin with precision. The customers in the line grew more intrigued as the line of quarters grew longer, reaching almost to the cash register. "I don't know, Levi," she said, her smile widening, "I've never seen anyone pay with a 'toll' before. You sure you don't want to just stick with the usual?"

Levi looked up at her, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Nonsense, Jenny!" he exclaimed. "This is a special occasion. You see, today is the one-year anniversary of the day I discovered that the 'BMT' in your sandwich stands for 'Best Meal Trip'!" The line erupted in laughter, and even Jenny couldn't hold back a giggle as she rang up his order.

As Levi slid his sandwich into a bag, he dramatically dropped a quarter into the tollbooth he had created. It clinked against the others, echoing through the now-silent store. "There," he said with a satisfied nod, "my fare has been paid." The customers in line were in stitches, and even the stoic cashier couldn't hide his smile.

Jenny leaned over the counter, her curiosity piqued. "What's so special about today, Levi?" she asked, wiping her hands on her apron.

Levi took a moment to take a bite of his sandwich, savoring it with a dramatic flair. "Ah, one year ago, I stumbled into this very Subway, a weary traveler in search of a meal," he began, his voice taking on a narrative tone. "And it was here that I found the holy grail of sandwiches – the BMT. It was love at first taste, and ever since, it's been my go-to for every occasion, from birthdays to Mondays."

The customers in line listened with amusement as Levi spun his tale. "But why the toll?" one of them inquired, a young man with a beard and a Yankees cap.

Levi looked up, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Because, my friend," he said, pausing for effect, "today marks the one-year anniversary of my BMT Adventure Club!" He held up the sandwich like a trophy. "And what better way to commemorate the journey than with a tollbooth of appreciation?"

The young man in the cap chuckled. "The BMT Adventure Club, huh? Sounds like my kind of place."

"Membership is exclusive," Levi winked, taking another bite of his sandwich. "But if you're ever feeling adventurous, just ask for a BMT and the magic words, and you might just get a taste of the high life."

Jenny's curiosity grew as she watched the customers exchange smiles. "What magic words?" she prodded, wiping down the counter.

Levi leaned in conspiratorially. "The magic words," he whispered dramatically, "are 'extra mayo'." He paused, allowing the anticipation to build before delivering the punchline. "But only those who truly understand the power of the BMT can pass through the tollbooth."

The young man in the cap laughed out loud, his eyes lighting up. "Count me in, Levi!" he said, slapping Levi on the back. "Next time I'm here, I'll be asking for those magic words."

under the hood

Levi was a man of steel, or so they used to say. His muscles rippled like the ocean waves under the stadium lights, and his roars echoed through the ears of thousands. But now, as he stood in the dimly lit gym, the only echo was the clang of metal on metal. The smell of sweat and determination filled the air as he gripped the barbell, feeling the cold steel bite into his palms. His eyes searched the room, looking for familiar faces, but all he found were shadows and silence. The once bustling space was a tomb to his former glory, a stark reminder of what had been taken from him.

With a deep sigh, Levi hefted the weight, his muscles straining against the gravity that felt like it had doubled since he last lifted. Each inch felt like a mile as he pushed the bar upwards, fighting the fog in his vision. The doctor’s words played in his head like a broken record. “Irreversible damage to the optic nerve.” His heart had sunk, his world had gone dark, and all his dreams had been shattered. But he wasn’t going to give up that easily. He’d wrestled in the dark before, and he’d do it again.

The mask was an unorthodox solution, but he didn’t care. The pinpricks of light that pierced through the fabric were his lifeline, his gateway to the world of the seen. He’d practiced with it for weeks, learning to interpret the shadows and shapes, to anticipate movements from the slightest sounds. The fabric clung to his face, sticky with sweat and determination. It was a part of him now, a symbol of his refusal to be beaten, his commitment to the sport that had been his life.

Panda Express Beijing Beef & Honey Walnut Shrimp review

The beef had just the right amount of spice. I did enjoy it. The sauce is a good mix of sweet and spice. Nothing overpowering here.

The coconut was overpowering on the shrimp. To sweet for my liking, but I am a fan of shrimp, so it gets a pass.

The chow mein is complimentary to both. It is okay for fast food.

Portion size was okay. We have a chain of grocery stores here called "Hy-Vee" I would have much rather ran in quick and ordered their Chinese. They have HUGE portions and fresh meat! With a better price. Well anyways, this is not about them, just saying, I dropped the ball on this one.

I enjoyed the Beijing Beef over the Honey Walnut Shrimp, if I am to return to Panda Express.

Not the best, not the worst. Panda Express is rather prices, however there are not many options for Chinese fast food. So mission accomplished, I think.

This two entrée gets 6.5 / 10 rating from me.

Raising Cane's The Box Combo review

The box combo from Raising Cane's has become one of my favorite combos out there, despite my lack of interest in coleslaw. The coleslaw is fine. I would prefer two sides of fries instead, or hell even an extra slice of toast. I will have to try and ask for that switch next time.

The chicken fingers are great. The meat is thick, juicy, and moist. Just the way daddy likes his chicken. The breading is great, and seasoned well. Fingers are well sized and filling.

The crinkle cut fries are better than most fast food places. The seasoning is fire.

I am a big fan of the Texas toast. It's got the butter and it's got that toasty taste. Yes! I always eat it first, which breaks my rule of eating fries first in a typical combo meal.

Now lets talk about the special sauce. For those wondering, here are the terrific ingredients for this jamming sauce!

  • Mayonnaise
  • Ketchup
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Garlic powder
  • Black pepper

You get a 22oz drink with the combo. I generous size for most Americans.

1250-1440 calories depending on drinkage and sauce consumption.

7.5/10 rating for this one. This is one hell of a combo meal! Personal bias drops this rating because I am not a huge coleslaw fan! Is it possible to substitute the coleslaw? We shall find out amongst return.

The McChicken $5 meal deal review

Everyone has had the contents of the McChicken $5 meal deal at some point already. You get a mcchicken, 4 chicken nuggets, choice of dipping sauce, small fry, and a small drink. That gets you 990 calories without sauce, expect to add another 30-110 calories depending on sauce choice and usage.

I found myself overworked the hottest day of the summer. Stumbled into a new McDonald's establishment for a quick bite and some AC. I didn't have the money, nor did I want to spend over $10+ on a combo meal. So I settled with the McChicken $5 deal.

Whenever I have fries, anywhere, I eat them first. I love and prefer the hot ones, so they went quick. McDonald's salty classic fries, what a good warm up for the rest of the meal.

I have always been a fan of how the mcchicken patty tastes, paired with the mayo and warm bun. Not a lettuce guy, but I eat it as it comes. The nuggets are usually a fun little snack, more or less it gives me a reason to enjoy my favorite sauce, honey mustard.

I am not saying to run out and buy this, however, if you are on a budget, you can't get much more bang for your buck than this one.

6 / 10 rating for this one, mostly due to the affordability.

Muna and Jaime fallout, Thelma new contender?

A nervous thrill shot through Muna. This wasn't just another match at LM Fight Promotions; it was supposed to be different. Jaime, her sparring partner, the one who sent her heart into overdrive with a playful headlock, had finally admitted their feelings were mutual. This apartment brawl was meant to be their first public display of affection, disguised as playful aggression. Now, Jaime had canceled last minute, a cryptic text citing only 'unforeseen circumstances' as her excuse. The disappointment was a bitter pill to swallow, leaving Muna battling a maelstrom of emotions: confusion, hurt, and a simmering anger that threatened to boil over. Instead of Jaime's familiar smirk across the bed, she'd be facing Thelma Flores, a notorious cheat known for her playful never knowing when to stop attitude. This wasn't the stage Muna envisioned for their first 'date', but as she threw on her favorite hoodie, a steely resolve hardened her gaze. She would channel every ounce of frustration, every unanswered question, into a performance that would make Jaime regret missing it. Thelma might not be a force to be reckoned with, but tonight, Muna was going to unleash some playful aggression.

Muna stepped off the bed, flushed and exhilarated, a wide grin plastered across her face. Her session with Thelma had been intense, a whirlwind of grapples and holds, ending in a satisfying draw. Later that evening, she messaged Jaime, eager to recount the details of the match, the way Thelma had countered her signature hip toss, the near pin that had them both holding their breath. But Jaime, who usually responded within minutes, remained silent. Days passed, the silence stretching into an uncomfortable void.

Scrolling through LM Fight Promotions YouTube, Jaime stumbled upon a video titled '(LMFP) apartment wrestling - Muna vs Thelma "Friendly Grappler" Flores'. Her stomach dropped. The playful jabs and lighthearted competition they used to share felt a million miles away.

Muna felt lonely, no responses from Jaime, joy evaporated, replaced by a knot of anxiety in her gut. She knew in her gut that Jaime, her friend, her old wrestling partner, was jealous. And in that jealousy, she had chosen silence, leaving Muna to grapple not just with the complexities of friendship but also the sting of being ghosted.

Muna and Jaime set for LMFP rematch

In the confines of their cramped apartment, Muna and Jaime, two aspiring wrestlers, grappled fiercely, their grunts echoing through the dim space. Muna, with her slender frame and raven hair, clung tenaciously to Jaime's bulkier form. Jaime, possessing blonde locks and raw strength, outweighed her diminutive companion. Their bodies collided in a symphony of submission holds and acrobatic throws, each move imbued with an unspoken intensity that transcended their recreational sparring. As they wrestled, an undeniable erotic charge hung in the air, Muna's petite body writhing provocatively against Jaime's muscular physique. Jaime, initially playful, found herself equally aroused by the physical contact and the surge of endorphins that coursed through her veins. They were two women lost in the moment, driven by an unyielding desire to become LM Fight Promotions champions. Yet, amidst their reverie, they remained oblivious to the glaring deficiency in their technique. Each bout they engaged in became more physically demanding and hazardous, their amateurish grappling escalating into a dangerous dance that threatened to spiral beyond their control.

The rematch is set and will be exclusively on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/levimcdaniel

Honey Trap and Missy Bombshell set for LMFP rematch

In the confines of their cozy apartment, two sisters, Honey Trap and Missy Bombshell, harbored an unyielding passion for wrestling. Driven by an unwavering dream of gracing the ring of LM Fight Promotions as women's champions, they dedicated countless hours to practicing their craft. With unwavering determination, they grappled and wrestled, their apartment transforming into a makeshift training ground. However, despite their boundless enthusiasm, their technical prowess left much to be desired. Clumsy holds, awkward maneuvers, and cringe-inducing tumbles plagued their sessions, oblivious to the imperfections that marred their budding careers. As their delusions of grandeur grew, so too did their belief in their own abilities. Unbeknownst to the aspiring duo, they remained a spectacle in the eyes of true wrestling enthusiasts, their every move a testament to their lack of skill.

And thus, the rematch will take place and will be exlusivly availble on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/levimcdaniel

LMFP Giving is Living results

This past Friday night LMFP presented Giving is Living at Greenfield Bowling alley. The results are as followed. Van Johnson took on Dracek and hopes of crowning the first X division champion. This match ended in a double count out. I have hopes of setting up a tournament to crown the first x division champion moving forward.
Match 2 Brian blade  defeated Mr fitness 2, to retain his mwa heavyweight championship.
Match 3 was The gauntlet match for the 24/7 championship. I went to the ring absent of the title, because it was stolen from my vehicle as I was setting up. Hopefully more information will come about the status of the actual championship. After defeating eight opponents in the gauntlet match, referee Bubbles attacked me from behind with the element of surprise, and an unknown referee who is not contracted to be working the event slipped in the ring and called for a stoppage, declaring hillbilly bubbles the new 24/7 champion although the tape shows I did not tap out and it was stopped before it should have been. General manager JD Riggs announced the final opponent of the gauntlet match was Donnie Peppercricket. Peppercricket would go on to a fast victory over the inexperienced referee Bubbles. However the victory was thrown out due to the referee not being official. Due to the fact that this finish was questionable, and a breakdown in communication of officials and staff, and due to the physical championship belt being stolen, LMFP has vacated this title.
The main event saw Cowboy James storm defeating Derek Stone. Watch the event here--->  https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLE_FEQbUaeIWTx3_lUvRZELqsEKB-k-k&si=0lnDbJk14cojZ5n0

LMFP survived the covid-19 pandemic

After a brief hiatus due to the corona virus making venues hard to deal with and uneasy fans, we have ran some a few shows the summer of 2021.   2020 and 2021.  I was only able to wrestle maybe 3 times during the pandemic.  I was involved with a small promotion in Puerto Rico called Revolutionary Caribbean Wrestling, even named co-owner of the promotion. But this ended up being at the height of the pandemic with travel restrictions and hardships, plus a difference in operating procedures, I decided to withdraw my position with the promotion. One thing I am very proud of that came about during the pandemic is my continued growing relationship with FWK promotion in Germany.  They have produced a few international episodes, and even a music video featuring myself and LMFP. I really love and support those guys. I knew that I was never going to give up on running my own promotion. I just didn't know when, and nothing else in my life was making any sense. I don't enjoy driving to wrestling shows anymore like I used to. We have covered a lot of ground this year with MWA, but I really don't like all of the travel. When I am in the ring, my dream is alive, which makes the miles worth it however. But the idea of living on the road is out of the question for the time being.  I like my current routine, and trying to be around for my family as much as possible.  Earlham Iowa was the location for our first event back in action.  This event was held the day prior to the towns annual Freedom Festival.  I felt the show energized the small town and gave the people who witnessed it something to remember.  In the main event, I took on Bubba Sutton. What started out as a technical match, turned into a brawl, then ended with interference from Bubba's manager Rev. Wombat. and Hillbilly Bubbles. I was double choke slammed onto thumbtacks and then Wombat proceeded to light a string of firecrackers on my back. Surely a stunt nobody in town was expecting.

Our next event (Headlock Hunger) was a canned food drive located in Dexter, Iowa. This was a free entry show and we took freewill donations on non perishables to be donated directly to the homeless in Des Moines, and the Earlham Food Pantry. We had some great sponsors for this event, and the event would not have been possible without them.

Our last event of the summer featured myself vs Cowboy James Storm, which was also held in Dexter, Iowa. The match was a lot of fun, and quickly turned into a 6 man tag team match, after a group of Rev. Wombat's disciples hit the ring.

Although the shows were a success and the promotion was able to turn a small profit, the events were not extremely profitable.  I registered LM Fight Promotions as an official business, and with what little money that was made was put back into the promotions account. I definitely was not expecting to make much money this summer, but wanted to run a few small events to help get the promotion off of the ground. We have a great group of guys who are apart of our shows, and each show has truly improved. Honestly from the time I started this promotion in 2019 until now, every one of our shows has been better.

I have tried my best to get most of my wrestling matches with LMFP and MWA on video. These can be found on my youtube channel, or through the matches links on my website. If you take the time to look at my youtube channel, you might as well subscribe.  One highlight of the summer was working a 6 man tag match against Christopher Daniels with Eric Bischoff being involved. Was just another day doing what I do, but fun working with top professionals that I have watched in my childhood.

the new new LMFP 24/7 Championship

Shortly after the LMFP 24/7 title celebrated a 1 year anniversary, the title is yet rebranded again. In a short years time, we have seen a handful of 24/7 champions,  the original 24/7 title belt was stolen from my car and buried in a field.
From there a temporary home made belt was thrown together. Although it was original, it did not serve justice to the history.
As an incentive to compete, I had a custom one of a kind 24/7 title made.  Personally, I like this design more than WWE's current 24/7 title.  This LMFP 24/7 is completely authentic and original. It is something to be proud of. I think belt marks and other wannabe champions will flock to LMFP for a chance at this 15 pounds of gold.
Whomever hold this championship, he must never let his guard down if he wishes to retain. This belt is on the line 24/7 365, and can be challenged for by anyone at anytime, in any place.
Here is a link to the ultimate anthology of the LMFP 24/7 championship ---> https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLE_FEQbUaeLCMHNcA-v1EZFTzB5dzdzw&si=ZxzH5p-lxip9wu4-
